At the Refuge ranch, we share how our angels in horsehair are vital Ministry partners for reaching the hearts and spirits of our participants both young and old. Our programs would not exist without our amazing four legged team members as they offer peace, joy, connection, encouragement, confidence and healing.
Sponsoring a horse is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact on others and your generous partnership helps support the daily care, hay, feed, medical treatment, training and other costs associated with the care of a sponsored horse. The annual cost to care for a healthy horse is about $3,000 annually or approximately $250 a month. Currently, there are 7 horses in the Refuge Ranch herd. Would you consider sponsoring a horse? Jehovah Jireh – My Provider
A common scriptural theme throughout the life of The Refuge Ranch and also to those who are a part of this ministry, both rider, volunteer or staff, is that God is our sole provider. He provides more than the horses, the properties and the people though, He provides hope. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you future and a hope.” His provisions, His welfare, for this very day and for the future, we give our deepest, most sincerest thanks to our Johovah Jireh. The Refuge Ranch does not charge for any services we provide, nor do we seek funding from the government or even churches. We rest on His promise that He will provide. However, if you feel that God is calling you to be a part of His ministry at the Refuge Ranch by making a donation, we will most humbly receive it in faith.
